Embracing Growth Opportunities

Nature Nurtures
Study after study has shown the true power and benefits to our mental, physical, and emotional health when we spend time outside in nature. But if you're like many people (myself included), you spend a large part of your life sitting at your desk at the computer, watching TV, skimming or checking your smartphone, or indoors doing ‘chores’.
Affirmations and Gratitude
Words have the power to lift us up or shut us down. There is SO much power in the words we use – the words we say out loud, the words we say in our heads, and the words we write.
Affirmations are positive statements that are either written, read, or spoken out loud, often repeated over and over. They are meant to empower you, shift your mindset and lead you to a more optimistic and hopeful outlook.
Power in the Pause
There’s so much power in the pause. It’s a time to let go of outer expectations and go within to find your answers. Pausing gives us space for relaxation and clarity. Pausing isn’t simply “stopping”, it’s consciously choosing to pause, see where you are at in that moment, and gain clarity before acting.
What is Self-Leadership?
Self-leadership is about observing and managing oneself. It requires qualities like self-awareness, self-honesty, self-knowledge, and self-discipline. Self-leadership means guiding yourself with gentleness, humility, and compassion throughout your daily existence.

Lessons from an Entrepreneur

Overcoming Overwhelm
What could be possible if you believed in yourself and your ability to overcome overwhelm? When you live with depression and anxiety, life can feel REALLY overwhelming. Heck, life is overwhelming for the average folk, but when you are challenged with mental health, it’s compounded. Some days? I ROCK it, some days… I feel like I suck.

“Knowing” that you are capable and aspiring to do something is half the battle. “Believing” you are worthy of what you desire sometimes takes a little work.
